Responding to the call to develop foreign trade

On December 12, 2024, Zhangqiu Economic Development Zone organized an important foreign trade seminar aimed at promoting the opening-up and innovative development of the regional economy. The meeting focused on how to utilize Zhangqiu's geographic and industrial advantages to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the international market and promote the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade enterprises.

Zhangqiu, as an important window for opening up of Shandong Province, has played an active role in the construction of “One Belt, One Road” in recent years, fostered a number of foreign export clusters and accelerated the development of cross-border e-commerce new business model. The meeting pointed out that Zhangqiu has successfully built new materials, machinery manufacturing and transportation equipment industry clusters led by Shengquan Group, Shandong Elite Heavy Industry Co.

At the seminar, Zhangqiu Business Service Center introduced how to respond to the national strategy to strengthen trade exchanges with countries along the “Belt and Road”. Enterprises in the district, such as Jinan Andi Metallurgical Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. and Dahan Technology Co., Ltd. have made remarkable achievements in the international market, and the scale of product exports is expanding.

In addition, the meeting emphasized Zhangqiu's unique position at the intersection of three national strategies: the Comprehensive Pilot Zone for Conversion of Old and New Dynamics, the China (Shandong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, and the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin. Zhangqiu is fostering and introducing comprehensive foreign trade service enterprises and platforms, such as Alibaba and Globetrotter, by optimizing the allocation of resources and leveraging the Internet and big data platforms, in order to support the development of a new mode of cross-border e-commerce for foreign trade enterprises.The representative of Shandong Brix Biotechnology Co., Ltd, Fan Xueqin, made an important speech, in which he pointed out that our company will unswervingly promote the development of foreign trade, actively adjust the sales strategy according to the foreign trade environment, and at the same time will promote the construction of medical equipment sample display center in Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

 Mingshui Economic and Technological Development Zone, as the only state-level economic and technological development zone in Jinan, also demonstrated its achievements in building strong platforms and carriers, strengthening the cultivation of science and innovation system, gathering high-level talents and building a dual-creation ecosystem at the conference.
